OUR STORY

The E-Cog training platform has been developed by clinicians, researchers and partners with varying expertise, including, but not limited to cognitive functioning and psychological treatments. Our team includes world-class leaders who have spearheaded the development and delivery of cognitive remediation and metacognitive training treatments for populations with schizophrenia spectrum disorders.

WHO WE ARE

The CRISP group

The CRISP group is led by Dr Martin Lepage, Researcher, Clinical Psychologist and James McGill Professor of Psychiatry at McGill University. Our laboratory is part of the Douglas Research Centre, second largest mental health research centre in Canada.

The CRISP group is currently exploring several inter-related dimensions of schizophrenia and psychosis through the use of various clinical, neurocognitive and neuroimaging techniques, such as MRI and fMRI, Neuropsychological testing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive remediation.

Our approach is motivated by a desire to better understand negative and cognitive symptoms that often characterize schizophrenia (e.g. memory difficulties, avolition, anhedonia, poor insight, etc.) and to develop research programs that will have significant clinical applications.
