
Helen Thai is a PhD Candidate in Clinical Psychology at McGill University, currently completing her residency at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Her research centers on developing and implementing patient-oriented research and care for individuals with severe mental illness. She is the recipient of prestigious awards, including the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship and McCall MacBain Scholarship for leadership, research potential, community engagement, and academic excellence. Helen has published widely in the areas of schizophrenia, eating disorders, and digital well-being. Clinically, Helen has worked with adolescents and adults across diagnostic groups and levels of psychiatric care, and she has facilitated several Metacognitive Training (MCT) groups for individuals with psychosis. She has a business background and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and worked in the Canadian federal public service prior to redirecting her career in clinical psychology. Helen now offers MCT supervision sessions.
