MODULE DESCRIPTION
In this module, we introduce or review concepts related to digital health and tele-health, and provide important information regarding security and confidentiality issues when delivering virtual cognitive interventions. Required changes to the therapeutic frame and effective strategies to implement online group interventions are also discussed. Available tools for the remote assessment of cognition are reviewed, as well as the psychological interventions that have been examined for virtual delivery in psychosis.
Additionally, you will find tutorials on how to operate the recommended technology to delivery cognitive interventions (i.e. Zoom Health, Microsoft Teams) and how to resolve technology-related issues.
This module is the first requirement in the Action-Based Cognitive Remediation for Psychosis and the Metacognitive Training for Psychosis certifications.
